🚲🤝Bikes, Helmets, and Community: Gearing Up in Fairview🤝🪖

On Thursday, May 7th, eight members of the Fairview Habitat community received tuned-up bikes, installed bike lights, and properly fitted helmets. The event was made possible through a partnership between FFORC, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, and The Recyclery, with a special thank you to Brian Leu for showing up onsite to make those final adjustments and ensure every bike was road-ready before riders headed out.

This bike distribution is part of our broader commitment to active transportation equity in the Fairview community, making sure that residents have not just the encouragement, but the actual tools, to get where they need to go safely and confidently.

While rain put a pause on our planned bike rodeo and community ride, we have rescheduled.

Join us on May 21st at 5:30 PM at the Dorothy Johnson Community Center for a community bike ride in Fairview. All riders, all levels, all welcome. 🚲

We're grateful to Central Pines Regional Council for their continued support of these activities and their investment in building healthier, more connected communities across the region.
