1 min read

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Women on the Move Fitness Event in Hillsborough! 🏃‍♀️🚲🍎 It was a joy to see the community come together to move, learn, and connect.

What participants enjoyed

·       Attendees had plenty of ways to get active and pick up new resources:

·       An outdoor fitness demonstration

·       Bike tune-ups

·       Nutrition activities

·       Physical therapy consultations

·       Smoothies powered by bicycles

·       Sports bra and shoe fittings with Fleet Feet

We are grateful to our partners, volunteers, and students from the UNC Department of City and Regional Planning for helping make this event a success. Their work connected community members with resources that support active, healthy communities.

We also appreciate Commissioner Robb English for volunteering his time to assist with bike tune-ups during the event.

A special thank you to Isabel Lu and Mia Nesbeth for capturing such wonderful photos of the event 📸

Stay tuned for more upcoming events and programs!
