Community Comes Together for Fitness on the Go in Efland

What a great evening at Fitness on the Go in Efland! Community members gathered for a fun, high-energy wellness event designed to make movement and health resources more accessible to everyone.

The event featured a free fitness class open to all skill levels, giving participants a chance to get active together in a welcoming, supportive environment. Attendees also had the opportunity to connect one-on-one with physical therapists, who were on hand to answer questions and offer guidance on staying active safely.

In addition to the fitness class, the event highlighted active transportation resources available to the community, supporting walking, biking, and other ways of getting around that promote both health and connection. To help participants keep moving after the event, free tennis shoes were provided, removing one more barrier to staying

active.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success, especially our partners, Habitat for Humanity, Fleet Feet, and Central Pines. Events like Fitness on the Go reflect our ongoing commitment to building healthier, more connected communities, where everyone has the opportunity to move more, connect more, and thrive.

Stay tuned for more community events coming soon!
