🚲 Pedaling Smoothies and Building Community at Efland-Cheeks and Weavers Grove💚👟
We had a wonderful time connecting with residents at both the Weavers Grove Fall Festival and the Efland-Cheeks Trunk or Treat!

At both events, families, children, and adults enjoyed pedaling our bike-powered smoothie blenders to create delicious smoothies. The blenders were a hit, and they gave us a fun way to talk with neighbors about active ways to use bicycles and alternative transportation. Making a smoothie with your own pedal power is a memorable way to see how bikes can do more than get us from place to place.
At Weavers Grove, community members also had the opportunity to receive free tennis shoes to support active and healthy lifestyles. Thank you to Fleet Feet Durham-Carrboro for helping make this possible.
From Halloween fun and healthy treats to promoting active living and community wellness, these events brought neighbors together for movement, learning, and connection. We loved seeing so many people join in, and we appreciate everyone who stopped by to pedal, blend, and celebrate with us! 💚🚲👟
