🌱 Do not be discouraged!

FFORC | August 28, 2025

Community change takes time...

Developing community partnerships, finding ways to increase access to healthy foods, and transforming streets, parks, and public spaces into safe, healthy, and welcoming places isn’t quick—it can take years of listening, planning, advocacy, partnership, and persistence—BUT the results are worth it!

Our FFORC team has worked in and with communities across North Carolina for over 15 years to develop sustainable community-led projects to increase health, safety, and wellness and we are seeing impacts.

Sometimes the impact of our work isn’t immediately visible—but when we are grounded in strong, trusting relationships with our partners and one another, we can be confident that positive change is happening!

Do not be discouraged. Every seed of change takes time to root, but with care and courage, it will break through the soil.

Remember to celebrate all the little wins, because every step forward is a step toward a stronger, healthier community!
