👟🚶‍♀️‍➡️Moving Together: Women on the Move Celebrates a Mid-Year Milestone

May is a month that invites us to think about care — the ways we nurture one another, show up for our communities, and tend to the relationships that keep us going. It was a fitting backdrop for the Women on the Move group's mid-year check-in, which brought members together for an afternoon of gratitude, reflection, and connection.

Women on the Move has built something real: a consistent space where people can stay active, socialize, and feel a genuine sense of belonging. At the check-in, members shared what the group means to them — a supportive space to stay active, socialize, and feel a sense of belonging.

The gathering also marked a milestone worth celebrating. Thanks to a partnership with Central Pines Regional Council, a couple of participants have started biking to class instead of driving. It's a small change on paper, but what it represents is growing confidence, a new relationship with active transportation, and a shift in everyday routine. 🚲✨

Fleet Feet added a special touch, gifting participants with tennis, a tangible boost of encouragement as the group heads into the second half of the year.

To the leaders who invest in this work, and to every member who shows up — thank you. 💛
