FFORC | January 14, 2025

Federal Fiscal Year 2023-2024 In Review!

UNC Chapel Hill’s FFORC team consists of two main components: nutrition education (through Carolina Hunger Initiative - CHI) and community-designed projects, all with the same goal of making nutritious foods and physical activity accessible to all North Carolina residents.

September 30, 2024 concluded our **fourth** year of implementing SNAP-Education programs and initiatives. Our teams made great strides in 2024, and we are excited to share some of those successes with you in this report!

We first would like to take the time to thank our community partners and the organizations who fund this work - We couldn’t do this without each of you. Over 2024, we partnered with many individuals, communities, businesses, and other cross-sector organizations to open opportunities for North Carolinians to eat healthy food and live active lives.

This report provides a high-level summary of the progress made by our projects and communities. This report provides a high-level summary of the progress made by our projects and communities.
