FFORC | February 4th, 2025, was

Transit Equity Day honors Rosa Parks' birthday, commemorating her actions in the Civil Rights movement. Held on Rosa Parks’ birthday, this holiday honors her courageous efforts in advocating for accessible, affordable, and sustainable public transportation for all. Public transit connects people to jobs, healthcare, education, and essential services, yet many communities still face barriers to reliable transportation. This national day of action highlights the need for equitable transit systems that serve everyone.
