Our Transit Equity project put together a brochure to support community members using active transit for the first time! Below are links to active transit tools and resources.

Chapel Hill

  • Town of Chapeil Hill Transit: Provides information about routes, schedules, real-time bus tracking, and other services offered by Chapel Hill Transit.


  • Ebike Library: Curious about e-bikes but need more information and haven't had a chance to ride one? Chapel Hill residents aged 18 and older can check out an e-bike for a few hours, a full day, or up to a week.

Orange County

  • Orange County Transportation Services: Orange County Transportation Services provides safe, reliable, and accessible transit options for residents of Orange County, NC.


  • Commuter Support: Orange County Commuter Options helps you to explore options to get to work alternative to driving alone.

Go Triangle

  • GoTriangle: The official operator of regional public transit bus services in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina.


  • Trip Planner: GoTriangle’s Trip Planner is another method to streamline transit commutes

Cycling Support

  • Family Biking Blog: Family Biking Blog shares tips and resources that helps parents and new bikers become confident in cycling


  • Bike the Triangle: A hub for biking related events and groups in the Triangle
