Happy Lunar New Year!

FFORC | January 29, 2025

Happy Lunar New Year! Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is a vibrant celebration marking the beginning of the new year on the lunar calendar. Each year honors an animal from the Chinese Zodiac; 2025 will be the Year of the Snake.

Originating from East and Southeast Asia, it’s deeply rooted in Chinese culture and celebrated by many Asian communities worldwide.

In the U.S., it’s a time to honor the contributions and heritage of Asian-Americans, bringing people together to celebrate family, tradition, and culture.

🥢🍴Food Traditions

-Dumplings (symbolizing wealth)

-Longevity noodles (for long life)

-Sticky rice cakes (nian gao) (for prosperity)

-Mandarins and oranges (for good luck)

Wishing everyone prosperity and happiness in the year ahead!
