The Women on the Move program just wrapped up its final class with instructor Emily —closing out a season of movement, motivation, and mutual support. These incredible women showed up week after week, gaining confidence in their bodies, striving towards their personal health and fitness goals, and growing together as a community.
Throughout the year, participants demonstrated exceptional commitment — showing up consistently to build confidence, work toward personal health and fitness goals, and support one another as a community. Together, they logged over 3,800 hours of physical activity, encouragement, and meaningful social connection.
We're proud of what this community accomplished together and the evidence it provides for the vital role of accessible physical activity programs in promoting health and strengthening community bonds. We extend our sincere gratitude to our instructors—Emily and Shannon—who led cardio and strength sessions with both expertise and compassion, as well as to our
program coordinators and every participant who have contributed to this program’s success.
We hope to see programs like Women on the Move continue in the future with dedicated funding!
